Housing For Self-Determination

The Housing for Self-Determination is a plan that FOCUS has developed to provide our program participants with a clear path out of the cycle of incarceration-poverty-re-incarceration that so many people who are captured by the prison-industrial complex spend much of their lives trapped in. People who participate in our re-entry acclimation programs and have a vision for what they want to do with their lives will be able to apply to live in one of the houses that we own, rent-free, for a period of time that allows them to save money and get their own plans in motion.
